A leader in Philadelphia's nonprofit community for more than 15 years, Wendy Graham is known for her strategic vision and innovative management approaches. As Executive Director, Wendy is responsible for the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund's strategic direction and sustainability while overseeing operational, personnel, and financial management. Helping families has always been Wendy's passion and she is deeply committed to the agency's mission to provide assistance to families caring for children with serious illnesses, disabilities and injuries, in a manner that respects their privacy and dignity.
After receiving her Master's Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Macro Practice from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003, Wendy worked as a consultant to Philadelphia's Department of Human Services, leading a foster care reform initiative. She then headed Wordsworth Human Services Community Placement Program until 2006, when she founded Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Philadelphia. As the Executive Director of CASA for ten years, Wendy developed a program that bettered the lives of hundreds of children and positioned CASA Philadelphia as a thriving non-profit at the center of child welfare reform in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.
Wendy works to give back to the field of Social Work, through her service on the Board of Directors for Women Against Abuse and the Pennsylvania CASA Association and through teaching courses in Social Welfare History and Field Education at Temple University’s School of Social Work. She has a B.A. in History from San Jose State University and earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from Bryn Mawr College. She resides in Ambler, Pennsylvania with her husband Dean and beloved Corgi-mix, Skippy.
