Peggy Dolan

Founder

Founder Peggy Dolan served as Executive Director of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund from 1976 to 2016. A graduate of Chestnut Hill College, Peggy was the Chair Emerita of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross Blood Services for the Penn Jersey Region... ; a board member of Mercy-Suburban Hospital; and a member of Arcadia University's Genetic Counseling Masters Program Advisory Committee. She was an original member of the Childhood Cancer Advisory Committee of the American Cancer Society in Philadelphia from 1986 to 2006 and served on the board of the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations from 2006 to 2009. In July 2009, Peggy was invited to take part in the Consortium for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. In 2008, Peggy served on the Patient and Family Issues Subcommittee in her role as member of the Pediatric Palliative and Hospice Care Task Force for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare. Peggy has received many awards and honors, including the following:

Danielle Scott Griffith MSW , LSW

Executive Director

Danielle Scott Griffith, M.S.W., L.S.W., began her over 25-year social work career in 1997 at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she worked in various social services departments until 2005. She and her husband Scott welcomed their son Rowan in December 2005... , and in November 2007 she gave birth to their daughter, Chloe, who was unknowingly born with a rare chromosomal disorder and subsequently diagnosed at 3 weeks old with retinoblastoma, a series of malignant tumors which impacted both of her eyes, leaving Chloe with serious physical and mental developmental delays. Danielle spent the next 6 years focused on Chloe's care, which included multiple eye surgeries, oncology treatments, physical and occupational therapy, and feeding and swallowing sessions at Children's' Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Chloe has since flourished, attending the Widener Memorial School in Philadelphia, PA for children with special needs. Upon re-entering the workforce, Danielle knew she wanted to continue her social work career, this time assisting families with children who required special attention due to their medical needs and financial demands. Danielle became the Program Director of the Dolan Fund where she directly served families requiring financial assistance, planned and provided support groups, family fun days, resources and advocacy, and coordinated holiday programs. Recently, Danielle became the Executive Director of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund. Danielle's vision for the Fund is to continue to serve those families with children who have medical necessities and suffer financial hardship, and to grow the Fund to serve even more families in need. Community Engagement Manager

Linda Bean brings 30 years of diversified human service – nonprofit experience in the fields of juvenile delinquency, domestic violence, mental health, workforce development and community collaboration to her role as Community Engagement Manager at the Kelly Anne... Dolan Memorial Fund.Linda manages the operation, development and maintenance of community partnerships, third party fundraisers, and supervision of volunteers. Linda received her BA from SUNY Buffalo in Sociology and Women’s Studies. A native of New York, Linda was drawn to the mission of the Fund through her own experience in caring for her son, Jake, following a catastrophic injury sustained in an automobile injury at the age of 17. Linda's passion is in advocating for neurodiversity inclusion. Linda is constantly reminded of how the kindness of so many empowers those travelling through unimaginable circumstances. Linda enjoys spending time with her adult kids, Jake, a firefighter, and Leah, an educator, who followed in her footsteps to help others. Program Manager

As a Program Manager, Kara has operational oversight and supervision of all financial assistance programming and liaison activities with HealthCare Professionals across ... Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Kara received a BS and MS from Saint Joseph's University with concentration in Psychology. As an operational executive, Kara has special interests in mental health services, inclusion, the patient experience, and fundraising while streamlining operational processes to yield positive outcomes along the way.
