exchangeABLE bridges the gap in access to pediatric medical equipment, connecting children and families with the donated equipment they need — expanding access, reducing waste, and strengthening communities.
exchangeABLE was born from lived experience.
The program began when a family in crisis needed critical medical equipment and couldn’t wait for the traditional system to respond. Their story reached Danielle Scott Griffith, Executive Director of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, and a mother of a child with disabilities herself, who understood the urgency firsthand.
She responded the way she knew best: she donated equipment her own family no longer needed. That single act of empathy became exchangeABLE – a growing network turning one family’s challenge into support for many others.
