Celebrating Service, Innovation & Impact with the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund
Summer has been a season of innovation, generosity, and joy. From new programs in development to community-wide service projects, we’ve seen firsthand how compassion can be transformed into action. As we look back at the past few months and ahead to what’s coming this fall, we’re reminded that it takes all of us—partners, volunteers, donors, and friends—to keep the mission moving forward.
Summer Highlights
- ExchangeABLE – Building a Circular EconomyThis summer, we began laying the foundation for ExchangeABLE, an exciting new program that focuses on the upcycling and redistribution of adaptive equipment. Too often, families outgrow or no longer need expensive medical equipment, while others are searching for the very same items. ExchangeABLE is designed to bridge that gap, reducing waste while ensuring that more families have access to the tools they need. We’re working hard behind the scenes and can’t wait to roll out this initiative in the coming months.
- SEI Investments Service Project – Sensory Bags
Our friends at SEI Investments dedicated their time and creativity this summer to assemble sensory bags for children facing medical challenges. Filled with comforting items designed to soothe and engage, these bags help children navigate difficult healthcare journeys with a little more ease. Projects like these remind us that even small gestures can have a lasting impact—and we’re so grateful to SEI for making this possible. - Christmas in July – Summer Giving at Its Best
July brought a burst of holiday spirit with our Christmas in July campaign. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide relief and support to families during the summer months, a time when needs can be just as pressing as the holidays. From essential assistance to small moments of joy, this campaign was a heartfelt reminder that the season of giving never really ends.
What's coming up
Unity Sports – September Kickoff
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Unity Sports this fall! In partnership with the Penn Charter Girls and Boys Soccer Teams, this program will bring student athletes together with children who have disabilities for a season of recreational soccer. Each child will be paired with a Buddy, creating a team where inclusion, friendship, and fun are the focus. Unity Sports isn’t just about the game—it’s about breaking down barriers and building community.
Rhythm & Brews – October 9th, 2025
Get ready for one of our most anticipated events of the year! On October 9th, we’ll gather at the beautiful Appleford Estate for Rhythm & Brews. This special evening will feature live music, local brews, great food, and an atmosphere filled with community spirit—all in support of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund. It’s a night you won’t want to miss. Tickets are live now, so be sure to reserve your spot!
Thanksgiving Baskets – November Tradition
As the leaves turn and the holiday season approaches, we’re preparing for our annual Thanksgiving Basket collection. Each year, these baskets provide families navigating serious health challenges with not only a meal but also the warmth and comfort of knowing their community cares. We’ll be sharing more details soon about how you can donate items, sponsor a basket, or volunteer to help assemble and deliver them.
