Celebrating Community, Generosity & Impact
As we welcome the spring season, we’re reflecting on the incredible generosity our community has shown over the winter months. From student-led fundraisers to new partnerships and exciting initiatives in development, the start of the year has already demonstrated the power of people coming together to support families caring for children with serious illnesses and disabilities.
As we share these highlights and look ahead to what’s coming next, we’re grateful for the volunteers, partners, donors, and friends who help keep our mission moving forward.
Community in Action
Students Making a Difference
This winter, local students made a remarkable impact in support of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund.

- Tamanend Middle School hosted its 26th Annual Three-on-Three Basketball Tournament, raising an incredible $30,000 for families served by the Fund.
- Gwynedd Mercy Academy Elementary School also rallied their community with a basketball tournament fundraiser, raising over $6,000 in support of our programs.
The leadership and generosity shown by these students continue to inspire us and make a meaningful difference for families in need.
- Unity Sports: This winter, Chestnut Hill Basketball hosted a
Unity Sports event, bringing together student-athletes and children with disabilities for a day centered on teamwork, inclusion, and fun.Unity Sports provides opportunities for children with disabilities to participate in recreational sports alongside student-athlete buddies in a supportive and encouraging environment. We’re excited to share that additional Unity Sports events are currently being planned for this summer.

Community Partnerships
We were also proud to partner with Kendra Scott and The William Penn Charter School for special fundraising events this winter. Partnerships like these help expand our community of supporters and strengthen the impact we can make together
Innovation in Progress
ExchangeABLE: Expanding Access to Adaptive Equipment
We are excited to be developing ExchangeABLE, a new initiative focused on the upcycling and redistribution of adaptive medical equipment.
Families often outgrow costly equipment while others are searching for the very same items. ExchangeABLE aims to bridge that gap by creating a system where equipment can be shared and redistributed to families who need it most—reducing waste while increasing access to critical resources.
We look forward to sharing more about this program as it develops.
